Ashok Kumar has a Ph.D. from CEEP and is an Energy Economist for the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India. His area of work focuses on policy formulation and implementation of energy efficiency and technology/idea innovation. He is part of the group working on implementation for the National Mission on Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEE). Kumar’s advocacy work includes involvement in the program, Super Efficient Equipment Program (SEEP) under NMEEE, which is focused on bringing market transformation to the accelerated introduction of super efficient equipments.
