Ph.D Candidate, CEEP
Daniele Poponi is a Ph.D. candidate and research associate at the Center for Energy and Environmental (CEEP) Policy of the University of Delaware and has a Master in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware and a Doctorate in Sustainable Development from the Department of Economics of the University of Bari (Italy) in 2004.
He has been working for several Departments of the Italian Government in the sectors of energy policy, climate change policy, and international cooperation. He has also been engaged in engineering economic analysis of renewable energy projects.
Daniele’s areas of general interest for research are technology transfer, technology diffusion, and energy modeling. His research interests at CEEP examine the net macroeconomic effects of renewable energy diffusion (through the use of Input/Output and GE equilibrium models), with particular reference to Italy.
